Frienderly Care Inc. was founded in 2023 by Ka-Meko Sykes. What began as a lighthearted quote—“The only people I enjoy hanging out with are babies and elders; they tend to bring out my softer side”—soon evolved into a meaningful mission rooted in compassion and service.

The inspiration behind Frienderly Care came while Ka-Meko was living with a friend who was caring for three elderly family members. She observed firsthand how the seniors spent most of their time isolated in their rooms, with very little social interaction or companionship. That experience left a lasting impression and revealed a quiet but urgent need in the community: connection.

Witnessing their loneliness sparked a deep passion in her to help fight social isolation among older adults and bring meaningful companionship back into their daily lives.

Frienderly Care Inc. was created to bridge that gap—providing friendship, conversation, and community support for seniors who may otherwise feel forgotten.

As Ka-Meko often says,
